Project Win: Macquarie University's Physics, Astronomy and Engineering Building

We're excited to share our latest project win in partnership with FDC - the Macquarie University PAE Building. This groundbreaking investment is set to redefine education and research in Sydney.

Spanning 13,237sqm across six stories, this academic complex is dedicated to Physics, Astronomy, and Engineering (PAE). What sets it apart is its inspiration drawn from First Nations constellations, infusing cultural significance into its design.

Inside, the School of Engineering will find a new home, accommodating 119 staff members and 1,940 students. The facility boasts cutting-edge laboratories, workshops, and project testing spaces, fostering innovation.

Additionally, the project includes a 2,718sqm astronomy centre in collaboration with Australian Astronomical Optics, positioning Macquarie University at the forefront of astronomical research and education.

The Macquarie University PAE Building symbolises their dedication to pushing the boundaries of academia. As partners in this transformative journey, we eagerly anticipate witnessing the impact of this project on education and research. With site establishment having started in December last year and construction now underway, the building is due for completion by the second quarter of 2025. Stay tuned for updates as this exciting endeavour takes shape!
